Duane Ring is responsible for the overall management of the Northeast Region of CenturyLink. The Northeast Region is comprised of nine states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Ring's areas of responsibilities include Region Operations, Network Performance, Project Management, Video and CATV Services, New Product Deployment, Revenue and Expense Budgets and Sales.

During his tenure with the company, Ring has led many projects and teams including successful product trials and the rollouts of IPTV, the Vail WiFi Network and the first commercially available Internet access product for CenturyTel. He also served as the company's Field Lead for the acquisitions of Verizon Wisconsin/GTE, Ameritech and PTI – Midwest.
