Todd Schafer is responsible for the overall management of the Mid-Atlantic Region of CenturyLink. The Mid-Atlantic Region is comprised of five states: Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

Schafer's areas of responsibilities include Region Operations, Network Performance, Project Management, Video and CATV Services, New Product Deployment, Revenue and Expense Budgets and Sales.

During his tenure with the company, Schafer has led wireless and wireline operations for the eastern half of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. In 2003 he led the Triple Play Video Team in developing a business case and the initial direction for IPTV and DISH within the company. From 2004 to 2009, he was region vice president for the Southern Region of CenturyTel.

Prior to joining the company, Schafer led the integration of five purchased independent telephone companies into Frontier's operating model.
