Commitment to Compliance

Cyxtera is dedicated to continuously improving and maintaining compliance and standards that are critical to customers.

What’s happening in Vegas

Cyxtera extends its footprint of data centers into the state of Nevada through a strategic partnership with SUPERNAP, a Switch Company.

SUPERNAP8 Las Vegas is the only North American retail data center to receive the Uptime Institute Tier IV Certification for Design and Build and Tier IV Gold Certification in Operations. Learn more about the strategic partnership with Switch SUPERNAP.

Due to its naturally temperate climate and a low instance of natural disasters and lack of harsh winter storms, the Las Vegas data center market is quickly becoming a hub of technological activity. Even the area's dry climate is beneficial for cooling purposes as more humid air can be less efficient and more costly to cool. Nevada also boasts a number of data center tax incentives and is known for being a low tax state.

The Las Vegas Data Center provides access to over 1.7 Million square feet of adaptable space, 315 megawatts of resilient power, 50+ network providers, multi-layer site security, access to Switch's patented containment systems (known as T-SCIFs) coupled with CenturyLink 100% power uptime SLA.
