Tina Dempsey Jones
Tina Dempsey Jones joined CenturyLink in 2012 as Senior Lead Marketing Manager for the Federal Sales Channel. She has over 20 years of experience marketing products to small-to-medium and enterprise businesses as well as to government agencies, and successfully supporting reseller, telecommunications and systems integrator sales teams.
As a member of the CenturyLink Federal Channel Marketing team, Tina is responsible for developing and promoting CenturyLink Government’s marketing message, implementing and executing the brand and product marketing plan, and tracking results in order to drive sales.
Her product marketing experience extends across all disciplines, from writing product requirements to developing brand and product marketing plans for software, hardware and network integration services.
Tina contributed to one of the most successful 8(a) government systems integrators as Product Marketing Manager, where she promoted networking products to federal government customers and supervised a product marketing team. Her responsibilities included event planning, media buying and maintaining strategic vendor relationships, as well as negotiating GSA Schedule 70 contract letters of supply.
In the telecommunications arena, Tina’s focus has been on marketing and positioning data and networking products as well as product management for broadband services, high-speed Internet, Internet security, online back-up and cloud collaboration services.
Tina is a graduate of Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Va., receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Spanish. She resides in Maryland with her husband and their two children.
