Sales Engineer Manager
Frank Turek has served the federal telecommunications community for close to 20 years. He began his career as a Technical Design Consultant with U S WEST Federal Services in 1992 and became the Technical Resource Manager in 1998. He currently leads a CenturyLink team of engineers reponsible for providing engineering solutions in support of DOD and civilian agency customers both nationally and within the legacy local exchange carrier footprint. He brings approximately 40 years telecommunications and electronics experience in government and industry in the support of federal network communications solutions.
Using his experience from both customer and provider perspectives, Mr. Turek was the primary architect for several critical networks being provided by CenturyLink to government customers to include the NORAD/DISA "Steel Pipe" Network and the USAF Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) network in Colorado.
Frank Turek earned a BA degree from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, IL and a MA from Webster University, St Louis. He resides in Colorado with his wife. He is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA).
