2011 - Qwest won the Nemertes PilotHouse Award for Managed Internet Services Award in the Market Challengers category. Nemertes interviewed more than 2,000 IT decision makers and asked them to rate their providers for technology, customer service, and value. Nemertes also consolidated the ratings into an overall score.

Qwest received the highest overall rating for companies included in the Market Challengers category and received a comparable rating to AT&T, which placed second overall in the Market Leaders category. Qwest was ranked higher than AT&T and Verizon for value even though both were included in the Market Leaders category.

  • More than 2,000 businesses were asked to rate the customer service of Managed Internet Service providers and Qwest received higher overall ratings than Orange Business and virtually tied with AT&T. Qwest was also ranked higher than AT&T and Verizon for value.
  • Qwest earned the Pilothouse award based on the strength of its customer service, technology, and the value of its services.
  • While the Pilothouse award was specific to Managed Internet Services, Qwest's focus on customer experience is applied across the full range of products and services Qwest offers.
