Centrex PRIME delivers telecommunications features and service from CenturyLink's digital Class 5 central office switching system via advanced network connections to your premises. CenturyLink's central offices are access controlled for security and engineered with redundant switching components and back-up power providing 99.999 percent availability. Customers connect to Centrex PRIME service using a variety of customer premises equipment (CPE) options that allow for single line, multi-line, and attendant console applications. CPE may be purchased from CenturyLink or a variety of quality providers. CenturyLink uses secure and redundantly engineered application server arrangements to provide customer management capabilities for moves, adds, and changes, as well as call management.
