  • setup your remote,
  • code lists, and
  • how to put your remote into learning mode.

Getting Started

Insert batteries into your remote, and make sure all home theater equipment is ON before starting remote control setup.

Setup Method A

  1. Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice.
  2. Press the mode key for device you wish to setup. The mode key stays lit.
  3. Find your device and brand from the code chart (PDF) and note the number key assigned to your brand. Press and hold the number key for your device/brand.
  4. Release the key when your device turns off. Setup for that device is complete.

If this doesn't work for you for any reason, see the user guide (PDF) to try Methods B & C.

  1. Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice.
  2. Press the TV/Video key.
  3. Press the mode key that corresponds with the device you use for changing audio/video inputs.
