Managing your CenturyLink email

Are you wondering where you go to sign into your account, or do you need to set up your email address? Maybe you've forgotten your username or password. Possibly you want to log in to My Account, but it's been a while and you've forgotten your credentials. Keep reading. The answers are here.

Where to check your webmail

If you don't use an account frequently or rely on the simplicity of a program like Outlook to deliver your messages, it's easy to forget where you need to go to check your email online.

If you use a CenturyLink-supported email address, you can check it from your CenturyLink homepage.

How to set up your email address/username

Email is included as part of your Internet service with us. If your personalized email address wasn't setup when your service was installed, you can set it up now.

To set up your email:

  1. Go to your CenturyLink home page.
  2. Hover your mouse over the My Account tab in the top navigation.
  3. Under Settings, click the Create Account link.
  4. Follow the simple instructions.

If you'd like detailed instructions (as well as a short how-to video), we have that too.

Of course, you don't have to use CenturyLink for email. You can use any provider you want including: Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL, etc.

How to reset your email password

Forgot your password? No problem. It's easy to reset.

If you forgot the password to your CenturyLink email account, or the one you have just isn't working, you can reset it online. You'll need:

  • Your 10-digit billing phone number
  • Your CenturyLink email address
  • The correct answers to the 2 secret questions that you'd previously set up

Ready? Go to the CenturyLink email password reset page.

Logging into My Account

Your CenturyLink email credentials are not necessarily the same as those you use to pay your bill online. If you're having trouble logging in to My Account, you can reset your username and password.

Your email and personal information are more secure when you use strong passwords. Test the strength of your passwords.
