Pay by phone
If you need to get your bill paid and don't want to hassle with mailing a check or booting up the computer, paying by phone might be just what you need. It's a quick and simple process. All you have to do is call us and provide a little info. You can use our automated system or talk to an actual person.
What you need
Be sure you have all the following handy before you call in:
- CenturyLink account number*
- Payment method (Types of payments we accept by phone)
- Payment details (e.g., card number, expiration date, billing zip)
- Amount you want to pay
Your payment will be processed immediately, and you will receive a confirmation number at the end of the transaction. (If you do not get a confirmation number, your transaction is not complete, and you need to chat with us.)
*If you don't have your account number, you can use the phone number and zip code that are attached to your CenturyLink account instead.

Did you know? If you use our automated phone system, you can set up a "wallet" for future payments. When you're in the system, follow the prompts to create your wallet, and the next time you pay by phone, you'll be asked if you want to use the account in your wallet to pay your bill.
Other ways to pay
If you decide paying by phone isn't what you want to do, you can pay online (or by smartphone), in person or by mail. (If you're concerned your payment might be late, read about our late fees and what you can do to avoid them.)
