What to expect on your first bill
Welcome to CenturyLink! We're glad to have you as a new customer. If you haven't already, you will soon receive your first bill. The first bill will look different than other bills. That's because it includes partial (prorated) charges from the day we started your service to the beginning of your monthly billing cycle.
Additionally, it may include one-time charges. These charges don't appear on your bill every month. Depending on the service you have, they can include:
- Equipment purchases
- Equipment shipping and handling
- Connection, activation or installation fees
To give you an idea of what to expect, we've created a few example bills, but before you look at the examples, you may want see what a typical monthly bill looks like. If you enjoy watching videos, we have a short one titled, "Understanding your bill." If you'd prefer instead to quickly cruise around an online version of your bill, that option is also available.
