If there are additional recurring charges associated with your Pure Broadband service, then those monthly charges are found in the section labeled "Other Charges". In this example, you see the router rental fee for the current billing period as well as the partial month.
In our example, since the service started on September 8, the bill will include both:
- the charges for the current billing period of September 12 - October 11
- AND prorated (partial month) charges for September 8 - September 11.
On a first bill, for each recurring charge, there is an additional prorated charge as well. In this case, the prorated charges cover 4 additional days not previously billed.
Also, any associated one-time charges that apply to the service will be listed in this section. In this example there are one-time charges for activating the High-Speed Internet service as well as shipping the router to the customer. The good news is that these are charges that won't appear on your bill every month. Depending on your particular situation, these costs could include:
- Equipment purchases
- Inside wiring and jacks
- Equipment shipping & handling
- Connection, activation or installation fees
Taxes, fees and surcharges will be slightly higher than normal because of the additional prorated charges.
