CNAM Customer Interface

To maximize your Caller ID functionality, CenturyLink end-user customer names, as well as names from a number of Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs) and wireless companies, are contained in the CenturyLink calling name database. Your end-user customers will get higher levels of satisfaction in their Caller ID use when you can provide a greater number of names as well as more accurate and complete name information.

Troubleshooting

Issue Action
After clicking the Calling Name Customer Interface link, the DBAS II Logon window does not display Contact us and an NSA will work with you to resolve your issue.

Business hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Central time.

If issues occur during non-business hours, it will be addressed the next business day. In the interim, call 800-578-2273 (LIDB Admin line) to have an CenturyLink representative handle your request.
In the Line form, after entering a Line record, this message displays: "You do not have permission for this line." Your company is not the account owner (AO) for this line record; therefore, you cannot access it. If this Line record was recently ported from another service provider (SP) to your company, the old SP has not removed the Line record under their AO, please wait 24-48 hours to allow the old SP to remove their Line record, and try again.
In the Line form, after entering a Line record, this message displays: "Group does not exist." The NPA-NXX entered has not been created. Please call the LIDB Admin line and explain to the representative that you are receiving a "Group does not exist" message in the Line form. The representative will load the NPA-NXX. The record can then be updated.
