Description Of Change
Eschelon asks Qwest to implement an IMA change to allow flow through of all Centrex 21 orders under all product lines. Manual handling of orders is expensive and is causing errors. Errors on orders affect customers' service up to and including full service outages.

Project Meetings

9/18/03 CMP Systems Meeting Connie Winston/Qwest stated we have analyzed Centrex 21 orders and found a 60 to 65% flow through rate. Connie said that there are two changes pending in October and November that will improve flow through. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon stated that she would like to leave this open for another month to determine if there is improvement. Bonnie also asked what Qwest’s expectation for success was. Connie Winston/Qwest stated that Qwest strives to keep at the benchmark and we pro-actively pursue to increase that benchmark to the 90’s. Connie Winston/Qwest stated that this request is working as requested and suggested that we close the CR and open an action item. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon agreed that the CR can be closed and an action item open. Kim Isaacs/Eschelon said that there is trouble ticket open associated with the PSON being stripped and haven’t received an update. Connie Winston/Qwest said that the ticket number is 231038 and is associated with #19 in the package (SCR093002-04). Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon asked if the ticket was only associated with Centrex orders. Kim Isaacs/Eschelon said yes. Connie Winston/Qwest said that the trouble ticket is associated with another CR. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon said that this CR could be closed.

8/21/03 CMP Systems Meeting Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon said that she was not sure if Eschelon can measure this and asked if Qwest had done any analysis to determine how many of these orders flow through untouched. Connie Winston/Qwest said that analysis has been done and some patches have been done. Connie stated that she does not have the percentages. Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon asked if Qwest could provide the data next month. Connie Winston/Qwest stated that we will provide the information in the September meeting.

7/18/02 Systems CMP Meeting Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon stated that Eschelon wants Centrex 21 to flow through. 12/17/01 Clarification Meeting Minutes: Attendees were Kathy Stichter / Eschelon, Shon Higer / Qwest, Susie Wells / Qwest, Peggy Esquibel-Reed for Lynn Stecklein / Qwest Reviewed CR description. Request is for Centrex 21, all products. CLEC Expectation is for Qwest to allow flow through of all Centrex 21 products, in both EDI & GUI. No other needed resources were identified. No dependent Change Requests identified.

January Systems Meeting 1/17/02 SCR120301-1 IMA Flow Through for Centrex 21 Orders Originated by Eschelon Bonnie Johnson/Eschelon reviewed the description of the CR, wants flowthrough rather than manually typed. Lynn Stecklein/Qwest stated that the LOE was Extra Large. Karen Clauson/Eschelon questioned what the factors were to determine the Extra Large level of effort. Jeff Thompson/Qwest responded that was determined due to the draft definition being consistent with the size of candidates. Effects multiple systems and sub-systems. Impacts are major changes to IMA and FTS. To gather data for Centrex 21 order, need to go to sub-system(s) to gather that data. Need to mechanize a human beings effort to flowthrough a Centrex 21 order. Karen Clauson/Eschelon asked what the number of hours is and what was looked at to determine the size. Jeff Thompson/Qwest responded that this is what Qwest would have to do. Hourly estimates are determined after Business and system requirements are completed. Mike Buck/Qwest stated that the status for this CR is now Presented and is ready for February IMA prioritization.
