Implement an IMA edit requiring the DL.LNLN to require more than one character. This should streamline the process for both CTL and the CLEC by eliminating queries related specifically to an erroneous LNLN and requiring the CLEC to submit a correcting order. Implement an edit requiring the data in the DES field to be all upper case or all lower case. This will eliminate queries to the CLECs as a result of a Dex query for directory appearance problems.

11/16/11 System CMP Meeting Lee Gomez – CenturyLink stated that this change request would implement an IMA edit requiring the DL.LNLN to require more than one character. This should streamline the process for both CenturyLink and the CLEC by eliminating queries related specifically to an erroneous LNLN and requiring the CLEC to submit a correcting order. It would implement an edit requiring the data in the DES field to be all upper case or all lower case. Mark confirmed the CR was for IMA Release 32. Lee Gomez – CenturyLink agreed.
