Using Order Templates

Order Templates can be created for OnLine Order Forms (OLOF) and Dedicated Toll Free Origination (DTFO) ordering.  Order Templates are created from Submitted OLOF/DTFO orders.

Summary:

  • Create Order Template: Navigate to Orders, Order Status, Preliminary Order Status.  Click the Create Template from Order ("T" icon) on the Submitted OLOF/DTFO that you want to use to create the template.  Name it and it will be stored for future use.
  • Utilizing Order Templates: Navigate to Manage Orders, Order Templates to access the list of order templates.
  • Delete Order Template: Delete unwanted order templates using the trash can icon on the list of Order Templates.

See below for detailed instuctions for creating, utilizing and deleting Order Templates.

Notes:

Once an Order Template is created, it will display information entered on the original order.  When an Order Template is accessed for use, you will need to review it and update the order request with any new information specific for the new order.

Deleted Order Templates cannot be restored.  If an Order Template is deleted in error, a new Order Template will have to be created from a Submitted OLOF/DTFO.

Orders from the past 90 days are available in Control Center Order Status.

To create an Order Template:

  1. Click the Orders tab, then click the Order Status subtab.
  1. Click Preliminary Order Status.
  1. Order Templates are created from Submitted OLOF/DTFO orders.  In the “Search For…” list, select Status.  The Search field will appear, enter the status of Submitted.  You can use enter key on your keyboard or click the icon to the right of the Search field.

Note: the Search functionality is case sensitive.  Please ensure to enter the Status as Submitted, as it is shown when the Preliminary Order Status page loads and displays all orders.  Entering submitted as lower case will not pull up any results.

Alternate searches:

You can "Search For..." OnLine Order Form or DTFO (case sensitive). You can use asterisks for a wildcard search, example *On or DT*.

If you know the OLOF/DTFO order ID, you can search by Parent Order ID and retrieve that specific order.

  1. Hover over the "T" icon under the Actions column; the Create Template from Order label is displayed.  After you click the "T" icon for the desired order, the Create New Template pop up will appear.  Enter Template Name and click Save Template button.
  1. The message will change to confirm the new template has been created successfully.  You can click the Open Template button to go directly into the OLOF/DTFO order form, or click the Close button.

To view the list of your Order Templates:

  1. Do one of the following to access Manage Orders:
    • From the Control Center dashboard, click the Manage Orders link in the Frequently Visited widget.
    • Click the Orders tab, then click the Order Status subtab.  Click the Manage Orders link.
  1. Click Order Templates.  You can click the link under the Template Name column to enter into that order form.

Note: once the Order Template is created, it will display information entered on the original order.  When an Order Template is accessed for use, you will need to review it and update the order request with any new information specific for the new order.

Note: Orders from the past 90 days are available in Order Status.

To delete an Order Template:
