Saving Information

You can save the information displayed in a CEMR-MTG window in Internet Explorer. Using this option, you can save the information as an HTML page, which you can view with your browser at any time. You do not need to be connected to CEMR-MTG to view an HTML page saved in this way.

To save information in Internet Explorer

1. Click once on the page you want to save to select the page.

2. Right-click on the page. A menu appears.

3. Select View Source. The page source appears in a Notepad file.

4. On the toolbar, click File,  and then click Save As. The Save As dialog box appears.

5. Select the directory to which you want to save the file.

6. Enter the file name in File Name field.
   
   

   Make sure that you add an .html file extension to the file name.

7. Select the Save as type as All Files from the drop-down list.

8. Click Save.

If you open a saved html file while using CEMR-MTG, the browser's Back button does not return you to the last CEMR-MTG window you were using. Instead, it takes you to the CEMR-MTG home page. This applies to opening files saved with CEMR-MTG, as well as to any other files.
