Preparing and submitting Broadband trouble reports

Click the DESIGN tab.

Click the Broadband subtab.

Type the Circuit ID of the circuit for which you want to create a trouble report. An example of a valid Broadband circuit specification is 303/555/1234.

Guide to Circuit ID formats

Enter the relevant details such as Tracking Report Information, Problem Information and Priority Information.

In the Problem Information section, enter the Caller Name, Broadband TN, CBR TN, Modem, OS, IP Type, ISP Host, and Line Encoding Type.

The total length of the Problem Information section should be less than 256 characters.

In the Problem Information section, the trouble type selected maps to a specific report category (AT, CR) in the CenturyLink trouble ticket system. See Broadband Trouble Types and Field Descriptions - Submitting a Broadband Trouble Report for more information.

Click Submit.

A message confirms that your trouble report has been submitted. You can check the status of the report by viewing its transaction history.

You can maintain trouble reports submitted for Broadband circuits by accessing the Maintain Trouble Report window under the Design tab.
