Verifying features

You can verify the features associated with a telephone number to assist in troubleshooting problems. You can view the Service and Equipment section of the Customer Service Record. You will also be able to view the switch information to verify that the features that are active on the Customer Service Record are also active on the switch.

  1. Click the NON DESIGN tab.

  2. Click the FEATURE VERIFICATION subtab.

  3. Type the telephone number for which you want to verify the features.

The e-mail from the user profile appears. You can replace the displayed e-mail ID with the e-mail ID where you want to receive the e-mail.

  1. Click Submit.

The Service and Equipment section of customer service record and switch information for the telephone number are displayed.

 

To print feature verification information

  1. In the Feature Verification Response window, click Print.

A window displaying details of features appears.

  1. In the window that appears, click Print Report.

  1. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
