Renaming an account group

If you need to change the name for an account group, you can rename it rather than delete and recreate it.

To rename an account group:

  1. Click the Admin tab, then click the Accounts subtab. 

Control Center displays a list of all your CenturyLink accounts. By default, your accounts are organized by account number.

  1. Click Manage Groups.
  1. Select the radio button next to the account group you want to rename.
  1. Type the new name, then click Remove. If you want to make this account group your default view, select the radio button for the account group again, then click Make Default.

    You can use account groups that others have created, but you can only rename account groups you've created.
