Updating Autopay payment information

After you enroll accounts in Autopay, you can make changes to the payment information. For example, you can change which bank account you use to make payments. You can also unenroll from Autopay and return to making monthly payments manually—online, over the phone, or by mail.

Note: If you're enrolled in Autopay and are using a credit card to make payments, you cannot update your credit card information online. Instead, contact us, and we will help you make the necessary changes. (Autopay using a credit card is limited by service, product, and location.)

To update your Autopay bank account information:

  1. Click the Billing tile, then click the Invoices subtile.
  1. Click Autopay.

    Control Center displays a list of accounts and indicates whether they're currently enrolled in Autopay. (Accounts with AutoPay ACH in the Payment Method column are currently enrolled in Autopay.)
  1. Click the Update tab.
  1. Select the checkbox for each account you want to update, then click Continue.
  1. Review the list to be sure you've selected the account(s) you want to enroll and do one of the following:

    • If you've selected the right account(s), click Update.

    • If you need to make changes, click Previous.

    • If you want to cancel enrolling the account(s) in Autopay, click Cancel.

  2. In the Bank Account Type field, select whether you want to use a checking (New Checking Account) or savings (New Savings Account) account.
  1. Type the information for your bank account, the routing number, account number, and account type.

  2. Select the I agree to these Terms and Conditions checkbox.

  3. Click Next.
  1. Verify that the information you entered is correct, then click Save. (If the information is not correct, click the green Make Changes link and make your corrections.)
  1. Review and keep the confirmation information that appears on the screen.

  2. Click Done.

    Your changes will become effective within one to two billing cycles. After it is complete, you'll receive an email confirming your enrollment. If you need to change your bank information, you can always update your Autopay information. You can also unenroll from Autopay and return to paying your bills manually each month.
