 Making multiple changes to phone numbers on your SIP trunk service

Using Control Center, you can make changes to many phone numbers at one time.

To make bulk changes:

  1. Click the Products & Services tile, then click the Inventory subtile.
  1. Click the service ID for SIP trunk service you want to modify.

  2. Click the green arrow next to the Telephone Number Management section.
  1. Select the checkbox(es) next to the phone number(s) you want to modify.

  2. From the Select Action list, select Download to Bulk Load.xls, then click Go.

    You'll receive an email with a link for you to OPEN/SAVE an Excel spreadsheet. The second tab of the spreadsheet includes instructions for how to complete your bulk upload. (You can assign users, modify allowed call types, or reassign routes on all selected numbers—which is intended to make management easier.) Be sure to save a copy of your work to your computer before you upload the document.
  1. In the Telephone Number Management section for the service, select Bulk Load (from the Select Action list), then click Go.
  1. Select the file you want to upload.

    Control Center validates the file and starts processing your changes. You'll receive a confirmation email.
Did you know? To manage your SIP trunk service, you need to have the appropriate permissions. If you need permissions, contact your system administrator.
