Including phone number descriptions in call detail reports in Bill Analyst

You can include phone number descriptions in your call detail reports (CDRs). By including the descriptions, your reports are quicker to read, since you don't have to look up or remember the numbers on your bill. You must first assign a description to your phone number before adding it to your report.

To include one or two phone number descriptions as part of your call detail report:

  1. Click Reports, click Billing Reports, then click Bill Analyst.

    Control Center opens Bill Analyst in a separate window.
  1. Click the Detail tab.
  1. Select the radio button next to the report you want, click Edit Report.
  1. In the Exclude box, click Account Description 1 and Account Description 2.
  1. Click the right-pointing arrow (>) to move the field(s) from the Exclude box to the Include box. (You may need to scroll down in the include box to see the addition.)
  1. Click Ok.

    Next time you run the report, you'll see your changes.
