Resolving an SFTP order failure in Bill Analyst

If you've ordered a report and requested it be delivered to a secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) location and receive a notice informing you that the report was not delievered, you can still retrieve the report. Bill Analyst won't make additional attempts to deliver the report, so you'll need to go to the Download Center and manually retrieve your report.

If your SFTP delivery fails:

  1. Click the Reports tab, then click the Billing Reports subtab. 
  1. Click Bill Analyzer.

  1. Click the Download Center tab.
  1. Look for the report you expected to be delivered to your SFTP location on the completed orders page. You will see a status message indicating that the delivery attempt failed. 

    All pending and recurring reports using a failed SFTP location are put on hold until the SFTP location is revalidated.

  2. Download the report.

  3. If the failed SFTP order doesn't appear on the completed or pending orders pages, you'll need to reorder the report. You should also check that your SFTP locations are validated, so that future orders will process correctly.
