Viewing a standard summary billing report in Bill Analyst

Summary reports are useful if you're trying to analyze high-level trends. Use these reports to get a better understanding of the source of your telecom costs. 

We provide standard summary billing reports on a variety of topics, based on the services you have in Control Center. Watch our summary reports video to learn more:

Available report topics include:

  • Adjustments and payments
  • Audio conferencing
  • Calls by call area
  • Calls by call type for long distance
  • Calls by call type for local service
  • Calls by day of the week for long distance
  • Calls by day of the week for local service
  • Calls by LATA name
  • Calls by service type
  • Directory assistance

You can edit any of these reports to create a custom version to give you the information you need.

To view a standard summary billing report:

  1. Click Reports, click Billing Reports, then click Bill Analyst.

    Control Center opens Bill Analyst in a separate window.
  1. Click the Summary tab.
  1. From the Data list, select the month of the statement you want to see. 

    If you request a large file—containing more than 1,000 records—the system will prompt you to order the report. As soon as the data's compiled, the report will be available in the Download Center or your SFTP site.
  1. Click View Report.

When Bill Analyst displays the report, you can click any of the orange links to change the report settings. If you prefer to see the report as a graph, select the Graph option, then click View.
