Using the PTAP map filters

You can filter the map view to quickly sort your endpoints. Use PTAP's map filters to quickly sort your customer endpoints. You can do a general search based on service type or you can get more detailed and search for a specific device.

To use the PTAP map filter, do the following:

  1. Click the Reports tile, then click the Network Performance Reports subtile.
  1. Click Network Performance (PTAP).

Control Center opens a separate window for CenturyLink PTAP.
  1. Click Map Filters (just above the map itself).
  1. To filter the points appearing on the map do any of the following:

    • To show specific types of service, select (or clear) the checkboxes in the Services section.

    • To filter by network (UNI) or Ethernet virtual circuit (EVC), select an option from the  list. (To remove the filter, select All from the list).

    • To filter the view to show endpoints in a particular state, select an option from the State list.

    • To search for a device, use the list to select the way you'd like to search for the device (e.g., Service ID Starts With or Port Alias Contains), and then type in the information for the device. (You need to type at least three characters for the search to start working.)

  2. When you're done filtering the map, click the red X in the upper-right corner of the pop-up.

Did you know? If you don't like your search results and want to go back to where you started, refresh the page.
