Including phone number descriptions in use detail reports in Usage Analyst

You can include phone number descriptions in your call detail reports (CDRs). By including the descriptions, your reports are quicker to read, since you don't have to look up or remember the numbers. You must first assign descriptions to phone numbers before adding them to your report.

To include phone number descriptions as part of your use detail report:

  1. Click the Reports tile, then click the Voice Reports subtile.
  1. Click Usage Analyzer.

Control Center opens Usage Analyst in a separate window.

  1. Click the Detail tab.
  1. Select the radio button next to the report you want. 

  2. Click Edit Report.
  1. In the Exclude box holding down the shift key, click Account Description 1 and Account Description 2.

  2. Click the right-pointing arrow (>) to move the field(s) from the Exclude box to the Include box. (You may need to scroll down in the include box to see the addition.)

  3. Click Ok.

    Next time you run the report you'll see your changes. 

Did you know? To view a CDR report, click the Detail tab, select the report you want to view, and then click View Report.
