Ordering a use report in Usage Analyst

You can order reports through Usage Analyst to make your time online more efficient. Reports can be ordered for a one-time download or on a recurring schedule. Select from two ways to be notified when the report is ready: an email or a message when you log in to Control Center.

To order a use report:

  1. Click the Reports tile, then click the Voice Reports subtile.
  1. Click Usage Analyzer.

Control Center opens Usage Analyst in a separate window.

  1. Click either the Summary or Detail tab.
  1. Select the report you want to order, then click Order Report.
  1. Complete the report, frequency, format, notification sections:

    • Report—from the lists, select how you want to narrow the scope of the report.

    • Frequency—select how often you want the report to be generated.

    • Format—select the file format of the report. 

    • Notification—select how you would like to be notified when the report is complete.

Note: When you run a detail report, select the Override record setting to include all available reports checkbox. If you don't, your order report will be limited to the first 1,001 records.

  1. Click Submit Order.

  • When you order a report on the detail page, the default is set to show you 1,000 records, which takes time to process. If you don't need that much data, you can reduce the number of records and the report will take less time to process. To do this, select the report, then click Edit Report. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, and in the records section, choose 25, 50, 100, or 250 from the menu. Click Ok. If you'd like to check your data before ordering it, click View Report. To order the report without checking the data, click Order Report.

  • All files over 2 MB will be automatically compressed. This feature reduces the time required to run reports on a recurring basis.

  • When you order a report, the report data is compiled based on how the report is set up. If you want to make changes to a report setup, you must edit the report. To do this, select the radio button next to the report, and then click Edit Report. Make your changes and click Ok. (Note: If you delete a filter, make sure you adjust any reports that use that filter. Reports that can't be processed because they're missing a filter are placed on hold and you can check the status of your order.)

  • After you order a report, it remains in a queue waiting to be processed. You can edit the criteria of a pending order, if the report has not yet been created or if the report is not currently being processed. After editing a report, you can resubmit the order.

  • Pending orders may be removed from the queue at any time, with the exception of orders that are currently being processed.

  • Ordered reports that are completed are in the Download Center. Orders have icons indicating the status of each report. Orders can be downloaded by clicking the report name.

  • If you no longer want to receive a recurring report, you can delete the order. If you're receiving a report that someone else ordered, you must contact that person and ask to be removed from the report distribution list. If you don't know who ordered the report, contact us, and we'll help you.
