As we set up your SD-WAN service, use this guide to follow the process step by step and to know where we'll need your help.

Installing and turning on your CenturyLink SD-WAN Hyper device

Before you install the device, make sure you record the serial number for each device. You can find the serial number on the bottom of the device.

A CenturyLink SD-WAN Hyper activation engineer will have preconfigured your SD-WAN Hyper service prior to shipping based on the information provided during quoting/ordering.

If you have any questions when activating your device, please contact our support team at 844-210-8826. Please mention that you are a CenturyLink SD-WAN Hyper customer and have your serial number ready. This will be the quickest way for your support member to find your information.

Quick start using an internet WAN connection

  1. Unpack the SD-WAN Hyper device(s) from the shipping box.

  2. If applicable, mount the device to the rack.

  3. Turn on the SD-WAN Hyper device.

  4. Connect your internet connection to SD-WAN Hyper device into the second usable WAN port. Use the diagram below if you need help finding the right port.

Quick start using LTE (optional)

  1. Unpack the SD-WAN Hyper device(s) from the shipping box.

  2. If applicable, mount the device to the rack.

  3. Turn on the SD-WAN Hyper device.

    The embedded SIM should automatically connect to the LTE network. The status indicator should turn solid purple indicating that the device is fully operational, connected, and that the uplink is actively using integrated cellular. When the LTE is not enabled, the status indicator will be white.
