Placing calls on hold and resuming held calls

Using the Contact Center Client, you can place a call on hold if you need to locate someone or find some information. 

To place a call on hold:
 

  1. Sign in to the Contact Center Client.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • From the Call Console, click the HOLD button with a call in progress.

    • From your desk phone, use the Hold button or soft key.
Resuming a call on hold

You can resume a call on hold in two ways:
 

  • From the Call Console, click the ANS button.

  • From your desk phone, use the Hold button or Resume soft key.
