Searching and calling a contact

Use the search feature on the Enterprise Assistant Toolbar to look for a contact. The search results include all users in the group, personal, Outlook, and LDAP directories.

Type part or all of a contact’s first or last name, department, phone number, or extension. For example, if you enter “re” as your criteria, your search may return users with the name “Rebecca” or users with the last name “Reynolds,” and users in the “repair” department. You can also search for contacts by area code or your previous search criteria.

To search and call a contact:

  1. In the Search field, type your search criteria, then press the Enter key (on your keyboard).
  1. Click on the phone number to call the contact.

  2. To end the call, click the red phone icon on the toolbar.
