Turning off Call Waiting

By default, Call Waiting is turned on. If you don’t want to put a call on hold and take a second call, you can turn the Call Waiting feature off. If the feature is turned off, callers receive a busy signal instead of going to your voicemail. (We suggest leaving the feature turned on.)

To turn off Call Waiting:

  1. Open your browser or Microsoft Outlook with the Enterprise Assistant Toolbar.
  1. Click Services.

    The Services window opens with the toolbar features, displaying the last feature opened.
  1. Under the Call Control menu, click Call Waiting.
  1. Click the Off radio button.
  1. Do one of the following:

    • If you want to make additional changes, click Apply, then click on the next feature to set.

    • If you're done, click OK.
