Turning on Call Waiting

By default, Call Waiting is turned on. But if someone turned it off, and you want to answer a call while you’re already on another call, you can turn the feature back on. When you answer the second call, the first caller is put on hold, and will stay on hold until you pick the call up again or the caller hangs up.

To turn on Call Waiting:

  1. Open your browser or Microsoft Outlook with the Enterprise Assistant Toolbar.
  1. Click Services.

    The Services window opens with the toolbar features, displaying the last feature opened.
  1. Under the Call Control menu, click Call Waiting.
  1. Click the On radio button.
  1. Do one of the following:

    • If you want to make additional changes, click Apply, then click on the next feature to set.

    • If you're done, click OK.

Did you know? To turn off Call Waiting, follow the same process above, but select the Off option.
