Configuring your Grandstream HT503 ATA

Follow the instructions below to configure the profile rule for your Grandstream HT503 ATA (analog termination adapter). The Grandstream HT503 provides one analog FXS port and one FXO port.

  1. Connect a laptop (or PC) to the ATA’s LAN port using an ethernet cable.

Note: The device will give you an IP address initially due to the default setting in the device configuration of NAT and DHCP server. The IP address of the unit will be 192.168.2.1 by default and can be accessed via a web browser by using the IP address. This DHCP server is turned off and becomes passthrough once the device receives its initial configuration from the CenturyLink Hosted Server.

  2. In web browser, put in URL & Enter: http://192.168.2.1.

  3. Default password is admin.

  4. Once a device has pulled configuration the password is changed to 235711.

Note: The new password is indication that a device successfully pulled the initial configuration.

  5. Go to Advanced Settings tab.

  6. Update Firmware Upgrade and Provisioning Upgrade Via setting to: HTTPS.

  7. Update the Firmware Server Path. Copy & enter the following URL:
    xsp.ctlvoice.com:443/dms/GrandstreamHT503/
