Will you be working in a conference room and still want to answer your calls? Are you going to be away from the office and need your calls to ring to another person or your mobile device? Call forwarding allows you to do this.
If your phone is ringing and you want to direct the call to someone else, you can redirect the call without first speaking to the caller.
You can set up your phone to forward all calls to another number, even if the Do Not Disturb feature is enabled.
When you no longer need to forward your calls, you must disable the call forwarding to resume normal calling.
Did you know? When Forwarding is enabled, all incoming calls ring to the defined number. If the call is not answered, the caller rolls to voicemail for that device. Once Forwarding is disabled, calls resume ringing to your desk phone.
