All VVX 300/400 series phones have handsfree capabilities. Handsfree is more commonly known as speakerphone.
Did you know? If you begin your call on the handset, you can move that call to the headset or speakerphone by pressing the Headset or Handsfree/Speakerphone button, and then return the handset to the cradle. To move a call from headset to speakerphone, simply lift the handset.
On the VVX 300/400 series phones, microphones are very sensitive. If you need to speak off line, we recommend that you mute your phone so you're not heard by other people on the call.
Did you know? When you mute your phone, you will continue to hear the other people on the call, but the other people will not hear you.
You can adjust volume levels by pressing the + or – on the volume control button. Use the volume control button (located below the keypad) to control volume levels for the following:
Did you know? When you increase or decrease the volume, it will remain at that setting until you choose to change it again (or until your phone reboots). If your phone reboots, all volume settings return to their default levels.
