Viewing your favorites list (VVX 300/400 series)

How do you know which contacts are designated as favorites? We'll describe multiple ways that this can be accomplished.

The first and most obvious way is by looking at your display. Any button with a grey silhouette is a contact programmed with a favorite designation. Press the button for the favorite to quickly call that individual or press and hold down the button for the favorite to view their contact information.

  1. Press and hold down the button for one of your favorites.

  2. Press a soft key at the bottom of the display to call the contact (Dial), make changes to the contact information (Edit), or remove the favorite designation (Delete).

A second way to review and manage your favorites is by accessing the favorites list. You can edit information for a favorite and assign a new index number to reorder them on your display as well as within your favorites list.

  1. Press the up navigation key.

  2. All favorites will be listed in index order (1–9999).

  3. Press the up and down navigation keys to locate your contact.

  4. Once you find your contact, press the Info soft key to edit that contact.

The final way to access your favorites list is via the Home button. It requires more navigating, but it can be done:

  1. Press the Home button.

  2. Navigate to Directories, then press the Select button (in the center of the navigation keys).

  3. Use the down navigation key to highlight Favorites, then press the Select soft key.

  4. Using the up and down navigation keys locate your contact.

  5. Once you find your contact, press the Info soft key to edit that contact.
