Your organization's administrator sets the default transfer type for your phone based on the type of transfer you most commonly use—consultative or blind. In most cases, the default transfer type will be consultative, which lets you announce a call prior to completing the transfer. If you want to change your default transfer type, follow the directions below.
The process to change your default transfer type is the same whether you are changing it to the consultative transfer option or blind transfer option.
Note: The last transfer setting used remains as your transfer default type until you reset it to the other transfer type.
