VoIP Training

CenturyLink® is excited to offer scheduled webinars, which provide training to customers using our Hosted VoIP and Managed Office services. Each training webinar concludes with an opportunity for attendees to engage in a question & answer session.

Training sessions will cover basic features and functions of the Hosted VoIP handset (including Enterprise Assistant Toolbar), administrator portal, end-user portal, Business Communicator, and receptionist console.

Note: If you have specific questions about the unique features or call flows designed for your organization, contact the system designer assigned to your implementation.

VVX 300/400 series training

This training session will review the basic features and functions of the Polycom VVX 300/400 series handsets, voicemail, and Enterprise Assistant Toolbar, but are not limited to the following:

  • Dial plan
  • Call forward
  • Call park
  • Transfer (supervised, unsupervised, to voicemail)
  • Conference
  • Accessing voicemail in/out of the office

VVX 500/600 series training

This training session will review the basic features and functions of the Polycom VVX 500/600 series handsets, voicemail, and Enterprise Assistant Toolbar, but are not limited to the following:
 

  • Dial plan
  • Call forward
  • Call park
  • Transfer (supervised, unsupervised, to voicemail)
  • Conference
  • Accessing voicemail in/out of the office

VoIP administrator portal training

This training session will review the basic and advanced functions of VoIP administrator portal, but are not limited to the following:
 

  • Create, Delete, Modify users
  • Inventory Management
  • Order additional Seats or Add-On features
  • Auto Attendant Management
  • Hunt Groups
  • Music On Hold

VoIP end-user portal & enterprise assistant toolbar training

This training session will review the basic and advanced functions of the VoIP end-user portal, but are not limited to the following:
 

  • Click-to-dial
  • Add contacts
  • Manage advanced Find Me/Follow Me features
  • Voicemail management
  • Manage call logs
  • Manage e911 registration

Eterprise Assistant Toolbar:
 

  • Download and installation
  • Configuration
  • Click-to-dial
  • Click-to-dial from Outlook contacts
  • Enable/disable forwarding, do not disturb and other advanced features
  • Enable/disable Remote Office

Business Communicator training

This training session will review the basic and advanced functions of the Business Communicator (desktop version), but are not limited to the following:
 

  • Accessing Business Communicator
  • Making/receiving calls
  • Managing contacts
  • Instant messaging and presence (if purchased)
  • Managing call logs and directories

Receptionist Console training

This training session will review the basic and advanced functions of the Receptionist Console, but are not limited to the following:
 

  • Accessing the Receptionist Console
  • Making/receiving calls
  • Handling calls
  • Monitoring presence
