Turning Call Forwarding Always on and off

Use the Call Forwarding Always feature to forward calls to another phone number. By default, the feature is turned off. When the feature is turned on, all incoming calls go to a phone number that you specify.

To turn Call Forwarding Always on:
 

  1. Sign in to Receptionist Console.
  1. From Receptionist Console's  main page, on the top right menu, click Settings.
  1. Click the Services tab.

    The Services Settings page opens, showing your active and inactive services.

  2. In the Inactive section, click Call Forwarding Always.
  1. In the Service Settings section, select the checkbox next to Active.

  2. If you want a reminder that Call Forwarding is on, select the checkbox next to Ring Splash.

  3. In the Forward To field, type the phone number you want to forward calls to.

  4. Click Save.
To turn Call Forwarding Always off:

  1. From Receptionist Console's main page, on the top right menu, click Settings.

    The General Settings page opens.

  2. Click the Services tab.
  1. In the Active section, click Call Forwarding Always.

  2. In the Service Settings section, deselect the checkbox next to Active.

  3. Deselect the checkbox next to Ring Splash.

  4. Click Save.
