Getting started with Digital Home Phone

We've outlined easy, basic set up tips so can you quickly start using your service:

  • Making calls
  • Receiving calls
  • Checking voice mail
  • Available Feature Access Codes (* Codes)

There are multiple ways to determine your Digital Home Phone telephone number.

Monthly Bill

Refer to the Digital Home Phone section of your CenturyLink monthly bill to locate your Digital Home Phone telephone.

Making Calls

Making a call from your Digital Home Phone service is the same as placing a call from a traditional phone line. Simply pick up your handset and dial the telephone number you want to call. Your call will now be connected.

Receiving Calls

Receiving a call to your Digital Home Phone service is the same as receiving a call from a traditional phone line. When a call comes in to your telephone number, all handsets that are connected through your Digital Home Phone Adapter will ring. Simply answer one of those ringing handsets, and your call will be connected.

Please Note: If you have Voice Mail service, unanswered calls will automatically forward to your voice mail if you do not answer the call after a set number of rings.

Checking voice mail

Choose one of these ways to access your mailbox, and followthe voice prompts you hear.

  • From Digital Home Phone only: Call your Digital Home Phone number, and then press
    98
  • From home or away: Call your Digital Home Phone number, and then press 7 when the greeting starts.
Please Note: If you don't remember or have yet to create a CenturyLink ID click the "Get Help" button on the login screen, or go to the How to Activate Your New Digital Home Phone service support page to learn how to create your CenturyLink ID.
