Setup or edit qwestoffice email in Outlook 2003

Setup qwestoffice email in Outlook 2003
  1. Select "Tools" then "E-mail Accounts."
  1. Select "Add a new e-mail account" then "Next."
  1.  Select "POP3" then "Next."
  1. Enter "Your Name" and full "E-mail Address."
  1. Enter pop.qwestoffice.net for the "Incoming mail server (POP3)".
  1. Enter smtp.qwestoffice.net for the "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)".
  1. Enter your Full Email Address for the "User Name".
  1. Enter your "Password."
  1. Select the "More Settings..." button.
  1. Select the "Outgoing Server" tab. Verify the following information is selected:
    -My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
    -Use same settings as my incoming mail server
  1. Select the "Advanced" tab. Enter 110 in the "Incoming server (POP3)" field .
  1. Continue entering the following information on the "Advanced Tab:" 
    1. Enter 465 in the "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" field.
    2. Select SSL from the "Use the following type of encrypted connection" drop-down menu.
    3. Check the box next to "Leave a copy of messages on the server."
    4. Select the "OK" button.
  1. Select the "Next" button.
  1. Select the "Finish" button.

Want to go back to the setup?

  1. Select "Tools" then "E-mail Accounts."
  1. Select "View or change existing e-mail accounts."
  1. Select the email address you want to edit. Select the "Change" button.
  1. Enter "Your Name" and full "E-mail Address."
  1. Enter pop.qwestoffice.net for the "Incoming mail server (POP3)".
  1. Enter smtp.qwestoffice.net for the "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)".
  1. Enter your Full Email Address for the "User Name".
  1. Enter your "Password."
  1. Select the "More Settings..." button.
