Setup or edit qwestoffice email in Outlook 2013

Setup qwestoffice email in Outlook 2013
  1. Select "File."
  1. Select "Account Settings."
  1. Select "Account Settings" again.
  1. Select "New."
  1. Select "Manual setup or additional server types".
  1. Select "Next."
  1. Select "POP or IMAP".
  1. Select the "Next" button. 
  1. Enter your name in the "Your Name" field and enter your email address in the "Email Address" field.
  1. Select POP3 from the "Account Type" drop-down menu.
  1. Enter pop.qwestoffice.net in the "Incoming mail server" field.
  1. Enter smtp.qwestoffice.net in the "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)" field.
  1. Enter your Full Email Address in the "User Name" field.
  1. Enter your passowrd in the "Password" field.
  1. Select the "More Settings..." button.
  1. Select the "Outgoing Server" tab. Verify the following information is selected:
    -My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
    -Use same settings as my incoming mail server
  1. Select the "Advanced" tab. Verify 110 is the value for the "Incoming server (POP3)" .

  1. Continue entering the following information on the "Advanced Tab:" 
    1. Enter 465 in the "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" field.
    2. Select SSL from the "Use the following type of encrypted connection" drop-down menu.
    3. Check the box next to "Leave a copy of messages on the server."
    4. Select the "OK" button.
  1. Select the "Next" button.
  1. Select the "Close" button.
  1. Select the "Finish" button.

Edit qwestoffice email in Outlook 2013

Want to go back to the setup?

  1. Select "File."
  1. Select "Account Settings."
  1. Select "Account Settings" again.
  1. Select the email address you want to edit.
  1. Select "Change."
  1. Verify you have the correct information in the "Your Name" and "Your Email Address" fields.
  1. Verify POP3 is selected in the "Account Type" drop-down list.
  1. Verify pop.qwestoffice.net is entered in the "Incoming mail server" field.
  1. Verify smtp.qwestoffice.net is entered for the "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)."
  1. Enter your Full Email Address in the "User Name" field.
  1. Re-enter your password in the "Password" field. You can test your password on the webmail server.
  1. Select the "More Settings..." button.
  1. Select the "Outgoing Server" tab. Verify the following is selected:
    -My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
    -Use same settings as my incoming mail server
  1. Select the "Advanced" tab. Verify 110 is the value for the "Incoming server (POP3)" .
  1. Continue entering the following information on the "Advanced Tab:"
