Setup or edit qwestoffice email in Windows Live

Setup qwestoffice email in Windows Live
  1. Select "Accounts."
  1. Select "Email."
  1. Enter "Your Email Address" and "Your Password."
  1.  Enter "Your Name", select "Manually configure server settings" then select "Next."
  1. Enter the following for 'Incoming server information':
    -Server Type: POP3
    -Server address: pop.qwestoffice.net
    -Port: 110
    -Logon user name: Full Email Address
  1. Enter the following for 'Outgoing server information':
    -Server address: smtp.qwestoffice.net
    -Check "Requires authentication"
    -Port: 465
    -Select 'Next'
  1. Select "Finish."

Edit qwestoffice email in Windows Live

  1. To edit your email settings, right-click on your email account.
  1. Select "Properties."
  1. On the "General" tab verify "Your Email address".
  1. On the "Servers" tab verify the:
    -Incoming mail (POP3): pop.qwestoffice.net
    -Outgoing mail (SMTP): smtp.qwestoffice.net
    -E-mail username: Full Email Address
    -Password: Re-enter Your Password
    -My server requires authentication: Checked Box
  1. On the "Advanced" tab verify the:
    -Outgoing mail (SMTP): 465
    -This server requires a secure connection (SSL): Checked
    -Incoming mail (POP3): 110
    -This server requires a secure connection (SSL): Un-checked
    -Select "OK" to save your changes. Close down your email client and open it back up.
