  1. Select "Tools", then "Accounts."
  1. Select "Add."
  1. Select "E-mail Account", then select "Next."
  1.  Enter "Your Name", select "Next."
  1. Enter "Your email Address", then select "Next".
  1. Select "POP3."
  1. Enter pop.qwestoffice.net.
  1. Enter smtp.qwestoffice.net, then select "Next."
  1. Enter your "Full Email Address", "Password", then select "Next."
  1. Select "Finish."

Edit qwestoffice email in Windows Vista Mail

Want to go back to the setup?

  1. Select "Tools", then "Accounts."
  1. Select the "email address" you want to edit. Select "Properties".
  1. Select the servers tab and verify the:
    -Incoming mail (POP3): pop.qwestoffice.net
    -Outgoing mail (SMTP): smtp.qwestoffice.net
    -E-mail username: Full Email Address
    -Password: Re-enter Your Password
    -My server requires authentication: Checked Box
    -Select the "Settings" button
  1. Select "Use the same settings as my incoming mail server", then select "OK."
  1. Select the "Advanced" tab. Enter 465 for "Outgoing mail (SMTP)".
  1. Do the following:
    -Enter 110 for "Incoming Mail (POP3)"
    -Check the box next to "Leave a copy of messages on server"
    -Select "OK"
  1. Select "Close."
