5 GHz MAC authentication for your Actiontec C2300A modem

5 GHz MAC authentication allows you to limit who can and can't connect to the Wi-Fi radio on your modem using the client's MAC address.
5 GHz Wireless Step 1-5

1.  Connect a device, such as a computer or tablet, directly to your modem using the Ethernet cable (usually yellow).

2.  Open a web browser and type http://192.168.0.1 into the web address field.

3.  Log in to your modem's settings (Modem GUI) using the Administrator Username and Password, then select "Apply." Unless you have changed the default settings, you can find the login information on the modem's sticker.
