Blocking and filtering options on your modem provide what are commonly thought of as parental controls. You can schedule access time for devices, and block certain kinds of services or specific websites.
Access Scheduler allows you to select a specific device connected to your network and set days and times during which that device can access the internet.
You can also set a WiFi schedule for the entire network from the wireless settings.
Select Access Scheduler in the left sidebar on the Advanced Setup menu.
Select the device you want to schedule from the dropdown list, or manually enter the device's IP address.
Check the boxes next to the day(s) you want to allow this device to access the internet.
Set the from/to times to specify when you want to allow internet access.
Service Blocking allows you to block access to particular internet services on a device connected to your network. The services you can block will depend on the device, but may include some of the following options:
Select Service Blocking in the left sidebar of the Advanced Setup menu.
Follow the steps to edit the Service Blocking settings.
Website blocking allows you to stop a device connected to your network from accessing specific websites of your choice.
From the Advanced Setup menu, select Website Blocking.
Follow the steps to edit the Website Blocking settings.
For all settings, always select Apply to save your changes.
