Configure DMZ, Port Forwarding and Service Forwarding on the Westell 7500 modem

DMZ

1. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.1.1 or http://10.0.0.1.

2. Select the "Security" tab. Select "Services". Select "Port Forwarding".

3. Select "Static NAT".

4. Select "Apply".

5. Select the PC or specify the IP Address assigned to be put into the DMZ. Select "Enable".

Port Forwarding

1. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.1.1 or http://10.0.0.1.

2. Select the "My Network" tab. Select "Enable Application" next to the device your want to forward to. 

3. Select "New Custom Service".

4. Enter the following information:

  • Service Name
  • Protocol
  • Start Port
  • End Port
  • LAN Port
  • Direction
  • Port Direction

5. Select "Add".

6. Select "Done".

7. Do the following:

  • Select custom service you recently created
  • Select "Enable"
  • Select "Apply"

Service Forwarding

1. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.1.1 or http://10.0.0.1.

2. Select the "My Network" tab. Select "Enable Application" next to the device your want to forward to. 

3. Select the "Service Name" from the drop down. Select "Enable".

4. Select "Apply".
