Configure basic 2.4 GHz wireless settings for your ZyXEL C1100Z modem

Basic 2.4 GHz wireless settings allows you to enable/disable the wireless radio, and change the Network Name (SSID). You can view the modems current security type, key/Passphrase, and WPS PIN.
Modem Wireless Step 1-3

1.  Connect a device, such as a computer or tablet, directly to your modem using the Ethernet cable (usually yellow).

2.  Open a web browser and type http://192.168.0.1 into the web address field.

3.  Log in to your modem's settings (GUI) using the Administrator Username and Password, then select "Apply." Unless you have changed the default settings, you can find the login information on the modem's sticker.

4.  Select "Wireless Setup."

  1. Select "Enable" for the Wireless Radio. You can also change the network name and view more details about your wireless connection.
  1. Select "Apply" to save any changes.
  1. Next, we are going to make sure the modem is Broadcasting the network (SSID). Select "SSID Setup."
  1. Select the SSID you want to change.
  1. Select "Broadcast SSID."
  1. Select "Apply" to save your changes.
  1. After the wireless light on your modem turns "On", try connecting devices to your wireless network.
