Configure Static Routing on your ZyXEL PK5001Z modem

Static Routing is when you add routers manually to the routing table. If a change or a failure occurs between two statically defined nodes, traffic will not be rerouted and must wait for the failure to be resolved by the administrator.
Modem Advanced Step 1-3
  1. Connect a device directly to your modem.
  1. Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.0.1.
  1. Login to your modem by entering the Admin Username and Admin Password, then select "Apply." If your modem is using the default settings, this information is located on the modem sticker.

  1. Select "Static Routing."
  1. From here you can view or edit the "Static Routing" settings.
